The Michigan Downtown Board of Directors will meet at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, September 13 at the Doubletree Hotel Bay City-Riverfront. Included on the agenda will be a change to the existing bylaws. In March, the Board voted to change the date of the organization's annual meeting from before October 1 to before December 1 of each year. This provides the MDA the option of holding this meeting during the fall conference in November. MDA Board elections are also held during the annual meeting, and the proposed change will align the length of the terms with the new annual meeting timeframe.
