Jerry has over 29 years of experience working in economic development and downtown management in the State of Michigan and most recently created his own consulting firm, Downtown Management Strategies. Prior work experience includes five years as Downtown Manager for the City of Royal Oak. Jerry began his tenure there just prior to the City achieving a Main Street Oakland County designation and is credited with leading the downtown in its turn around. He also serves on the Main Street Oakland County Advisory Board.
Tiffany has over 20 years of experience in historic preservation, research, and management, as well as marketing and public relations. She is also a principal and historian with Athena Research Consultants, a company specializing in historical research, archival management, and historical surveys, including National and State Register of Historic Places nominations. Tiffany has also worked as an archivist for the Cranbrook Archives; editorial assistant for Michigan History Magazine; and as manager of publications, web site and e-commerce for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She has served the community as a member of the Rochester DDA Organizational Committee and director of communications for the Rochester-Avon Historical Society. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in History and Archival Management from Wayne State University.
