Director
Dana Walker

Before becoming Director of the MDA in March 2019, Dana was a member of the organization's Board of Directors and the Chairperson for the Conference Committee.  Previously, Dana was the director of the Imlay City Downtown Development Authority, a position she held for 4.5 years.  Dana was the director for the Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce from 2011-2014.  During her tenure in Imlay City, she was  chair of the City's economic development and Redevelopment Ready Communities committees. Dana's experience with DDAs began in downtown Farmington where she assisted with promotions and sponsorship drives.  Prior to working for municipalities, Dana owned a gift shop in downtown Farmington and taught in Utica Community Schools for 11 years.
